Zeze Kingston (born March 26, 1987) is a Malawian afropiano singer, songwriter and televison personality.[1] In 2023, he won the male artist of the year at the Maso Awards that took place at BICC in Lilongwe.[2] He also won the Best Live Act whereas Lulu, Tay Grin, Gwamba, and Piksy were just nominated.[2]

Early life[edit]
Kingston was born on March 26, 1987, in Lilongwe and raised in Blantyre. He completed his primary schooling in Blantyre as well as his secondary school education.[3]
Music career[edit]
Kingston started his music career as a producer in Malawi around 2011. In December 2022, Kingston released his EP titled “In My Zone” in following his massive success of the song titled “Mvetsela” that featured Temwah and Jillz. After winning as male artist of the year, Kingston owed his success to South Africa's Amapiano.[4][5]
