Peterborough City Centre is the city centre district of Peterborough, England. It serves as a cultural, social and political centre in the East of England. In recent decades, the city centre has rapidly swelled in size and continues to endorse this.
Main public transport hubs for the city centre are Queensgate Bus Station, Peterborough Railway Station, Bourges Boulevard and the parkways.
Peterborough City Centre is divided by sub-areas within it, these consist of: Midgate, Westgate, Station Quarter, Cowgate, Cathedral grounds, Embankment, Fletton Quays, Viersen Platz, Priestgate, Northminster, Broadway and Queensgate (shopping centre).
