Babaheydar District (Persian: بخش بابا حيدر) is in Farsan County, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Babaheydar.[3]

After the 2006 census, the city of Babaheydar was separated from the Central District in the establishment of Babaheydar District, which was divided into two rural districts and the city.[3]

The following census in 2011 counted 8,770 people in 2,343 households.[4] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 18,917 inhabitants living in 5,478 households.[2]

After the census, the village of Filabad was elevated to the status of a city.[5]
