The Central District of Kermanshah County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان کرمانشاه) is in Kermanshah province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Kermanshah.
At the National Census in 2006, its population was 888,990 in 222,022 households.[3] The following census in 2011 counted 951,762 people in 268,312 households,[4] by which time Posht Darband Rural District and Razavar Rural District had been separated from the district in the establishment of Bilavar District.[5] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 1,011,428 inhabitants in 302,960 households.[2]
