Tiana or Tianna is a feminine given name that originated as an extended form of the name Tia or a short form of names such as Cristiana or Tatiana.[1] Being rare in the United States, its popularity sharply increased since 1975, probably due to the actress Tiana Alexandra active in that time frame.[2]
