Josefa Leonel Correia Sacko (born before 2000) is an Angolan agronomist, economist and diplomat. She served as General Secretary of the Inter-African Coffee Organization for 13 years. Since 2021, she has been the African Union Commissioner for Agriculture, Rural Development, Blue Economy and Sustainable Environment (ARBE).[1]
Career[edit]
Josefa Sacko initially worked as a consultant in the Ministry of the Environment, where she was responsible for climate change. She then became a consultant in the Ministry of Agriculture, dealing with food and nutrition security, hunger eradication and poverty reduction.
