From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This is a list of members of Parliament (MPs) who hold seats at the end of the 58th Parliament of the United Kingdom who announced they would not stand for re-election in the 2024 general election. As of 30 May 2024, a total of 131 current Members of Parliament have announced their intention not to stand for re-election, including a record number of Conservative MPs.

Four MPs — Nadine Dorries,[1][2] Nigel Adams,[3][4] Chris Skidmore[5] (all Conservative) and Chris Pincher[6] (independent, elected as Conservative) — announced their intention not to stand again, but later resigned from Parliament before the election, and are not included in the figures below. There were no vacant seats at dissolution.

The final tally of sitting MPs not standing for re-election will be known when nominations close on 7 June 2024.
