The JW Marriott Panglao Island Resort & Spa is an under-construction resort in Panglao Island, Bohol, Philippines. The resort, built under the partnership between the Cebu-based property developer AppleOne and Marriott International, will be the first Marriott International hotel in the country.[1] The hotel will be situated on a 7-hectare beachfront property in Panglao, offering a view fronting the Maribojoc Bay.[2] The resort hotel will have 80 guest rooms, and will provide other amenities for the hotel.[3][4]

A memorandum was signed in Singapore in June 2023, marking the third partnership deal between AppleOne and Marriott International after their two successful partnerships, and will be AppleOne's third property managed by Marriott International.[5] The hotel broke ground on December 2, 2023, and is slated for completion by 2027.[6]

Facilities[edit]

The JW Marriott Panglao Island Resort & Residences will provide 80 guest rooms, with proposals including pools, a fitness center, a spa, a JW Garden, and food and beverage outlets.[7]

On the other hand, the JW Marriott Residences will include approximately 70 units, ranging from one-bedroom, two-bedroom and villas, including private amenities such as a pool and a lounge.[2]
